We had a great mix of guests from all our complexes, local residents, UCC staff and our own SL team. Thanks also to Joe's and Bros for the amazing food and drinks. It was great to meet everyone and we hope you all enjoyed!

All-Ireland Pollinator Plan!

As part of the ScholarLee Community Green initiative to develop our environmental and social projects we are delighted to share that we have now signed up to the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan by the National Biodiversity Data Centre. This plan will direct activities in our outdoor areas such as reduced mowing, planting pollinator friendly plants and shrubs and overall making ScholarLee a friendly and sustainable environment for pollinators! Our Green Spaces Coordinator, Llanw, will be overseeing this great work and logging our activities with the National Biodiversity Data Centre.

After many weeks and months of had work, we are delighted to fully share the ScholarLee Community Green initiative.This initiative encompasses all the ESG efforts made in ScholarLee to be kinder to our planet and local environment as well as doing what we can to make a positive contribution to the communities we are fortunate to be a part of.
From recycling batteries and growing our own food to share with residents, to community clean up days and eco-friendly building design, the Community Green initiative is our way of acting incrementally, positively and ever-forward to develop sustainable living practices

We were thrilled as always to join our neighbours on Magazine Road for the annual community clean organised by the Magazine Road Residents Association! We take great pride in our place in this community and constantly do our best to make it a great place to live, work and study for everyone.
